The Occupational Therapy Benevolent Endowment for Texas

What does OTBE stand for?

The OTBE is an acronym for the Occupational Therapy Benevolent Endowment

What is the OTBE?

The OTBE is a non profit 501(c)3  organization established to support occupational therapy (OT) practitioners in their ability to deliver occupational therapy services in time of significant life crisis. The OT BE funded initiatives allow OT practitioners, OT public supporters, and their families the opportunity to give back to the OT community and support the delivery of OT services in Texas.

What can OTBE do for me?

If you have a significant life crisis (e.g. natural disaster, divorce, financial burden, etc.) affecting your ability to provide OT services, the OTBE can potentially help you pay for continuing education, supplies, travel, educational materials (if you're a student), cost of internet for documentation, and much more.

Why should I donate?

In its simplest terms, occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants help people across the lifespan participate in the things they want and need to do through the therapeutic use of everyday activities (occupations). With your generosity, you will help to provide that hand-up necessary for these dedicated practitioners to maintain their ability to continue making a difference in the life of others.
