The OTBE is an acronym for the Occupational Therapy Benevolent Endowment .
The OTBE is a non profit 501(c)3 organization established to support occupational therapy (OT) practitioners in their ability to deliver occupational therapy services in time of significant life crisis. The OT BE funded initiatives allow OT practitioners, OT public supporters, and their families the opportunity to give back to the OT community and support the delivery of OT services in Texas.
If you have a catastrophic life crisis (e.g. natural disaster, financial burden, etc.) affecting your ability to provide OT services, the OTBE can potentially help you pay for your license, continuing education costs, and whatever else you need to continue supplying OT services.
In its simplest terms, occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants help people across the lifespan participate in the things they want and need to do through the therapeutic use of everyday activities (occupations). With your generosity, you will help to provide that hand-up necessary for these dedicated practitioners to maintain their ability to continue making a difference in the life of others.
If you still have questions, we will gladly answer any questions or concerns you may have.
